Para listar MySql antiguo
yum list installed | grep -i mysql
Para eliminar Old MySql
yum remove mysql mysql-*
Dependencia de Remi en CentOS 6 y Red Hat (RHEL) 6
rpm -Uvh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
rpm -Uvh http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm
Instalar servidor MySQL
yum --enablerepo=remi,remi-test install mysql mysql-server
Para listar Nuevo MySql
yum list installed | grep -i mysql
iniciar el servidor MySql
/etc/init.d/mysqld start
## usar reiniciar después de actualizar
O
service mysqld start
## usar reiniciar después de actualizar
chkconfig --levels 235 mysqld on
Último
mysql_upgrade -u root -p
Ahora mi versión de MySql es 5.5.32

Just wanted to add that after the upgrade, my crontab was removed as well. Had to reinstall with "yum install vixie-cron" (CentOS 6)
