La tabla XML xobjects
contiene cada uno de los AuxiliaryObject
instancias dentro del AuxiliaryType
, de su texto XML original. Tiene los atributos name
y id
, más un sub-XMLType que contiene las filas anidadas. La segunda tabla XML, xrows
, lo expande para que se puedan extraer los elementos. Las uniones y el paso de los tipos XML crean la jerarquía que proporciona el resultado que desea:

Esto funciona en SQL Developer contra una base de datos 11.2.0.3 y en SQL Fiddle .
Una versión anterior basada en CTE de esta respuesta también funcionó en SQL Developer pero SQL Fiddle obtuve un error ORA-600; eso, junto con el problema que tuvo en la pregunta, sugiere que tal vez SQL Fiddle esté en una versión sin parches, o al menos con parches diferentes, de 11gR2 que tiene errores en el manejo de XML.
