Sé que llegué un poco tarde, pero he estado jugando con Mongodb y Powershell durante los últimos días. La solución más sencilla que he encontrado es instalar los cmdlets de MongoDB desde la galería de Powershell:

Paso 1:Obtener e instalar.
Mdbc se distribuye como el módulo Mdbc de la galería de PowerShell. En PowerShell 5.0 o con PowerShellGet puede instalarlo con este comando:
Install-Module Mdbc
Paso 2:en un símbolo del sistema de PowerShell, importe el módulo:
Import-Module Mdbc
Paso 3:echa un vistazo a la ayuda:
help about_Mdbc
help Connect-Mdbc -full
Luego siga los siguientes pasos para ver si la configuración funciona:
# Load the module
Import-Module Mdbc
# Connect the new collection test.test
